Exactly the same problem here!
After one of the reactions happens (like valiant attack, valiant defence, etc.) that should remove it from the affected character, the "Combat Inspiration" condition instead remains on the character thus preventing reapplication of a new Combat inspiration by the bard.
I found however an ugly workaround... The "Valiant Roll" togglable passive feature seams to be blocking the condition from being removed. So, all you have to do is try to lockpick something with the affected character and add the "Valiant Roll" bonus to it. This will make the "Combat Inspiration" condition disappear.
Theoretically you could leave the togglable passive feature turned on, but ability checks are not as common.

just give a shove to companion and consumed combat inspiration is gone
