BG3 SE and MCM are making a mess of things.

Hello Adventurers, I have a problem.
I wanted to use some mods and for that I would need BG3 Script Extender and MCM.
BG3 SE complains that MCM is not first in the start order and that this can cause problems.
Even reinstalling BG3 does not help because the error persists even though I have tried to remove as much BG3 SE and MCM as possible (the steam library is not on my system disk so the system files of BG3 SE and MCM must be on the system).
When I want to start the game now the continue button in the main menu does not even work anymore and I have to start a save so BG3 SE and MCM are really messing things up
How do I get this right (also how do I get the order of MCM first because even removing the mods does not help with this).

I wont do that step again, i reinstalled already, still the problem is existing.
