Anyone else unable to load into the game post patch 8?

Hey everyone
I am finding it impossible to load into my old save or even load into a new game as the loading screen always gets stuck around 83% and then just goes on forever or occasionally crashes. I have a ton of mods but I've been playing around all day by deactivating a ton, verifying the game files, restarting my PC... none of that has helped so far. So most of my mods are cosmetic, some are outfits, weapons and I do also have the Shar deity mod installed but even when I uninstall it and try to start a new game, no such luck.

Any tips or advice would be most helpful! Thanks in advance.

Same here. I did the standard "Check your file(s) integrity" with not change. The head changing to the illithid freezes for a bit before loading two smaller windows on the right with my user name and Steam integration on. The NVIDIA screen flashes and we're left with a spinning circle on the lower right and the "hand" that moves freely.
I'm on a Mac and the OS doesn't register the app as hung.

I have uninstall and reinstall it and keeps getting stuck in the loading screen before the main menu. My domain over the informatical arts ends here, I need help from a high level computomancer.

So I was able to get the game running but my old saves are toast now bc I had mods that are not yet compatible with patch 8 installed during those runs. I painfully reinstalled each mod one by one to see which ones were causing the loading issue and started a new game each time to see if the game would run. I did that until I was satisfied but now all my HUD icons and spells are invisible lol. I cant win. The game is a bit unplayable with mods rn but I contacted Larian support so we will see how that goes.
