Game crashes a lot (I'm on the beach)

Hello,

So I am getting a lot of crashes whether on Direct X or Vulkan. I am at the beach and every 5 minutes the game crashes. I am on high settings with an RTX 3060, RAM 16 GB, I7.

Anyone else?

incoming black screen crash ingame.
When that happens my pc still runs like nothing happened with game sounds normal but the screen at my monitor has blackout and using Shift-Alt or Ctl-Alt-delete doesnt work, my only options is push the pc power button for shutdown.
I cant continue with that or i will break my system or worse to happen just for try playing this game.

Try these settings somewhere it must fix.
- Reset into new game again ( thoughts corrupt save file )
- Nvidia update on driver. ( even tried to roll back )
- Re-installed Nvidia Graphic card.
- balance in-game settings graphic to medium and even low ( my pc can handle games on ultra )
- Bg3.exe Compatibility High DPI setting
- Disable optimisations
- Optimize Nvidia control panel
- Run as an administrator
- switched into Window mode and Full Window.
- RAM check

- changed resolution 1080 x 1920 ( 60-59-50 )

I just want to tell you that i solved this, and want to give you info.
If possible make a transferring your steam installation from HDD to SSD this made my game work like magic, i hope you can join this incredible adventure by try that out and good luck!

3070 i5 13600, 16 gb ram, the game often crashes, temps are very ok.

3070 here as well 32gb ram, hard crashes are pretty inconsistent but it happens enough to where it's annoying. Around 16hrs in the game. Usually happens during a cut scene. Tried multiple resolution and fps changes with no luck. (Tested both Vulkan & DX11) Not really sure what's causing the issues but I'm going to assume it has something to do with Nvidia if a lot of us are experiencing the same thing.
(Edit - No temp issues even slightly, have seen 1 blue screen that completely shuts down the PC.)

After two of the crashes it suggested that the crashes experienced were something related to installation not being done correctly. Doing an integrity check at the moment. Will update if that fixes the issue.

I have the same issue! Crashes all along the end of act1. In cutscenes or in fights. I have no idea why. i am reinstalling the game for the 3rd time on 3 different drives..
-set back my AMD driver
-reinstalled 3 times (now)
-Settings from ultra to mid
-deactivating background software
-updating windows etc.

Played on Vulkan and had the crashes. DX11 gives me solid 20fps :) ... iam hoping for a fix! im 25hours into the game. and all of the sudden its dying!
