sovereign glut issue?

I had him in my party and when he turned on me because i didn't want to go against the other circle, i ended up killing him. but i have a bug where even though he is dead his dead character portrait is still next to my player characters portrait. i tried porting out of there ot a different location and its still there. is there any know fix? cheers!

Never mind, i just quit out of the game and came back in, which fixed the issue. still leaving this here in case anyone needs to solve as well.
