Game does NOT remember "borderless window mode"
BROKEN:
- game does NOT remember "borderless window mode".

It keeps resetting to +++++ fullscreen<.<
Just tested it. Launcher doesn't have any options remotely useful for that.

I do not care for "player has to fumble in files" troubleshooting.
Just fix it on YOUR end... please.... thanks

Just tested it. For me its still borderless window (like it was all the time) and it keeps that setting after restarting. Even it is the GoG version I think its not a game issue but more an issue on your end.

Could it be that you have some Syncing active? Maybe Cloud Saves or things like OneDrive syncing your profile?

Also a write protection / some rights issue where the game stores the setting?

Or some sand boxing like some AV do?

Maybe some third party software that interfers with Graphics?

Further even that is probably the most unlikely here, some mod?

Also, this is a players forum. We try to help other players. If you want something "...fix it on YOUR end... please.... thanks" I presume that you are directing that at Larian and should therefore send a formal bug report to them directly

Just in case anyone else finds this thread with the same issue as I did and is using the NVIDIA app, be sure to check the settings in the NVIDIA app under Graphics -> BG3 -> Optimize, select Full-screen Borderless, then "Optimize." It seems it was overwriting the settings for me, as it loaded as expected after making this change. However, I haven't tested after returning from Windows sleep or a shutdown, so whether this persists is to be determined. If this fixes it, the issue doesn't appear to be a Steam or Larian issue, but an NVIDIA one (which, considering their recent track record for drivers, is hardly surprising).
