Multiplayer - only one traveller chest

I've recently started a new multiplayer campaign and there is only one travller chest at the camp. I can't send items to the camp, I can't even open the traveller chest. I know there's supposed to be one chest per each player. What do I do? When the other player is not there yet I can open the chest, but as soon as they appear they're the one who can open the chest

my buddy has this same issue, after a little while if u save and load it comes in. probably something to do with the host not having deluxe edition while one of the other players does.

Both of us don't have deluxe edition. Do you know when your friend got the chest? We've already had two sessions with and after reloading we still have only one chest

i'm having the same problem + if we reaload he takes control of my characher

all he did was restart his computer, a small update came up for BG3 on steam and then his chest was back, try verifying steam files on both your computer and see if it works.

you can also try deleting the profile associated with BG3 in appdata but do be careful to not delete the saves folder or youre going to be restarting from the beginning.
