Is multiplayer down?

Since patch 7 multiplayer does not work for my friend and I. We just get connection failed errors. It does this with or without mods, new games or old saves, and if he hosts or if I host. I found a couple other posts about this but nothing with much traction. Im just curious if its working for others or down for everyone.

Same issue here. No mods, but tried it with a new game hosted by my friend, and an old save hosted by myself, same error on both.

Following because my play group is having the exact same issue. No matter what we do we can't join a co-op game.

same thing for my group, we've done a ton of quick fix bs to try and work around it. Such as
opening the game via the C drive to bypass Steam and then used the direct connect which worked for a day. Sadly pooped out on us again. i have emailed BG3 support, they recommend removing your friend on steam and then try joining. didn't work for me but maybe helps you.

My friend and I fixed this by using direct connect only and sending the other the code to get in. We didn't have to open the game differently to get it to work.
