Data/editor file missing

so im trying to get the BG3 toolkit to work, have the DLC files installed for bg3 and i have the toolkit installed. when launching bg3 toolkit it asks for file location, nothing new expected that. make the file path and it says it doesnt have the editor file in the data file selected.

Looking around online most people and places are saying the editor file is added when the DLC toolkit is added to the game, i have it checkmarked for the DLC. still doesnt add it, tried verifying files, everythings good, tried adding my own editor file, crashed the toolkit with no prompt, i've unchecked the DLC ran the game, closed it and steam reopened and then rechecked the DLC and it still doesnt add the editor file. the only thing i havent done is reinstall.

anyone know a solution?

reinstalling fixed my issues, i was forced to after a disk file corruption from incompatible mods lol
