Every text "not found"

Loading up the game for the first time in 2 weeks and I am greeted by "not found" on the menu buttons and save games files. That carried over into the game proper to all buttons, descriptions, markers and dialogue options.
I submitted a support ticket but wanted to leave the post here in case other people have the same bug and want to add to the thread.

Guess it´s movie or book time tonight :/

What you described is known as typical mod issue. For mods related issues consult the mods authors.

I have this problem also and am running 0 mods
Only happened since the last update

Did you do the Game Update Routine when updating the game?

Thanks for the guides! This worked for me: Go into your specific game settings on Steam > Installed files > Validate Integrity of files. Doing so might show that "1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired". The file that contains all the in game text was corrupted locally for me, and validating files fixed it.
