Dark Urge Quest Bug (no mods) - Spoilers
Hello: My DU quest never completed even though I completed it. I have no mods never have.
I became an Unholy Assassin of Bhaal, killed Sarevok, spoke to Scleritas Fel outside the door of the Temple of Bhall, agreed to kill Orin, then killed Orin, but nothing happened and Scleritas Fell thought that I didn't kill her. He told me to go in. At a compulsory long rest after I tried to fast travel, he appeared and cursed me for refusing to kill Orin, and then he died. That seems to be the ending for failing the DU question. And my DU quest disappeared from my quest log.
Anyone have this experience or know if there is a quest mechanics reason why it might not have worked?

Try to verify game files.

The game files verified. I did all the other stuff too. And reported it. Maybe I overlooked something I have to do. Its too late now but any suggestions for next time?
