ancient altar eating umbral gems

soo this might just be another varation of the quest item bug but i am so desperate for any solution andd i cant find one so in the gauntlet of shar i am able to put the first umbral gem in the elevator but when i get down to the 2nd one with the three gem holes the altar seems to just sort of void all but 1 of the gems so i cant get in has this happened to anyone else? sos (╥_╥)

i forgot 2 say i do have mods so i might just b toast :( sosad

This is mods issue. Try to use Knock spell.
