Can't finish Save wulbren quest

i went to the moonrise towers to rescue wulbren and the tieflings, i spoke with both groups and the whent behind the cells with karlach and knocked down the wall. my party was alredy in the docks, when both groups arraived by the docks i said that i would accompany then to the inn

once i reached the inn i was able to complete the tieflings quest with no problem, but when i talked to wulbren to finish the quest he kept repeating the same phrase over and over again.

i read that to finish this quest you need to talk to Barcus, the problem is that he is pretty dead in my playthrough.

so because i dont have barcus i wont be able to fix this, and then be softblocked out of a mission in act3 from what i've read.

can i do anything about this? is there a mod that might fix this?
