Chamber of loss ambience?

I've just completed shadows hearts quest, and in the room with her parents there is some ambient sounds of screaming of torture which is all fine but now that i have left the area the sounds wont stop playing even in areas with music like the camp. its quite annoying any fixes? ive reloaded saves fast travelled restarted the game? if i turn down the ambient sound slider in the settings it turns it off but i loss all the good sounds like birds tweeting in baldurs gate city
