How to fix bug? Can't get Amulet of Bhaal!

I have finished the fight against Dolor, looted him, and we did not get a bag of hands or a note that was supposed to be on him. I can't enter the Temple of Bhaal through the door with the secret password because I dont have it. Dolor's body is gone from the clothing shop, so there is no way for me to get the Amulet of Bhaal. I'm completely stuck and cannot proceed in the game. Any suggestions or fixes?

The Amulet of Bhaal is obtained later, at the Murder Tribunal. Dolor's bag of hands is not the only way to get to the Tribunal, and if you do a certain favor for a certain NPC you'll be invited there.

Which NPC? I’ve been looking for other ways to get to the tribunal, but I’m stuck after Dolor disappeared and didn’t have a note with the secret password for the tribunal door in Candhollows. I’ve already warned the targets and don’t want to kill someone to gain access to the tribunal. It seems like this is just a bug that I can’t get around.

You can get the password from the Halfling Flaming Fist investigator you meet at the Elfsong tavern. The only issue is you'll need to save her from being killed during the final fight against Dolor. This can be tricky as she's paralysed before the fight starts and any melee attack made against her is a Crit so you'll have 1-2 rounds at most to rush in and aggro Dolor and the others away from her.
