Jaheira and Harpers turn hostile in Moonrise Towers
My party fought the first floor battle at Moonrise Tower with Jaheira and the Harpers. But the moment the last enemy died - immediately! - our allies all became hostile.

They were "temporarily hostile," supposedly. But the only way we could get away from them was to leave the tower and run out into the Shadow Lands. It took us a long time, but we finally did that.

Unfortunately, all of the Harpers followed us out of the tower and turned into undead. Now, THAT was kind of neat, except that it killed all of them (all but Jaheira herself).

But why did they become hostile? I don't know, but I'm guessing it was because Shadowheart was wearing those boots that turn water electrical when she stands in it.

That was no problem during the fight. But afterwards, since there was a huge pool of water (and the Harpers were so idiotic they ran right into the damaging area even during the fight).

But at the end, they were all standing in the water, and so was Shadowheart. So the water was automatically electrified.

If this wasn't the problem, then I have no idea what the problem might have been. Well, I'll remove those boots from Shadowheart and try again.

(Unfortunately, this will be the third time. The first time went great, except that Jaheira - like all of the other Harpers - is INCREDIBLY dumb. So she just jumped into the middle of the enemies and was killed before we could rescue her.)

Just thought I'd better report this.

This game is horribly designed. I don't have those boots or any AOE it was a mobs poison tick damage that made them turn hostile. Larian cannot program, horrible designers I mean lol

Me and my group got the harpers hostile because the shapeshifter Druid howlbear landed on a crate, destroying it.

We let the Druid alone and went to the camp, so the harpers got on the owlbear instead ( also, on honour mode ).

While encounters are chilling even on honour, having only one save to deal with bugs it’s way more scarier, cause we have no control at all ( we also use elevators 2 ppl per time, after a game reload ).

I had this once because, I think, one of Gale's zombies turned an enemy into a zombie and that one somehow triggered a fight with the Harpers after the final battle.

And then there was that time, when someone stepped into Ailyn's beam after the fight with Lorroakan...

Sounds like a lively development in your game, OP. I would've let it play out as is.
