Can't load save in honor mode?

Hey wondering if anybody else has had the crash when trying to load the honor mode save file. Started my honor mode run yesterday and now I can get back into the save file.

Yeah I'm having a similar thing. Even when trying to start a new game in honour mode it was doing it. I'm not sure exactly if any of the things I did when starting fixed it but maybe it could help?
I loaded into another save just to test (which worked), then pressed start new game and selected any other difficulty (which let me get to character creation with no issue) . After that it seemed to work when trying to start an honour mode run. Also maybe driver update? I did that too but im not 100% if that was what caused the new game to work. Soo for now maybe see if you can load another save first then go back to your honour mode save. Hopefully no more crashes soon

Yes, I've been having the same issue as OP. I was able to make an Honour Mode game easily enough, and played for a couple hours, but when I quit and then tried to load the save again it crashes the whole game.

I'm hoping that this is a temporary issue with the new patch and that we'll see a hotfix soon!

Am having this issue as well, no mods and the regular saves do work. It's especially weird with how you can play the mode just fine (and if you quit to main menu you can actually load the saves from the run you started that instance only not after the game has been closed once).

Potential fix: I just started a new honour mode and just clicked through character creation etc and as soon as exiting the pod I exited to main menu, After that i'm able to load old honour saves!
It's an annoyance but at least they are playable now.

Aw man, I got excited when I saw this and just tried it. As soon as I chose Honor Mode and clicked Continue, the game crashed. I really hope this gets patched soon. I was cruising for a few hours on my run.

I can't even get to character creation. I skipped the opening sequence, then saw really bad graphics that cleared when I moved the camera - several nude males standing with a clothed dark urge in the middle. Unable to do anything. If starting the game in a different mode, then changing, would that then negate the achievement?
I also have no difficulty starting a new game in any other mode.
Maybe this is related to having mods installed?

For some reason, I'm able to load my game after fiddling with the graphics settings. It might be turning off anti aliasing, or disabling the depth field of view blur. Either way, messing with graphics settings seemed to work for me sometimes.

I have the file here: %localappdata%\Larian Studios\Baldur's Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public\Savegames\Story

It won't load.
I'm on PC
I'm toward the end of Act 2 (many many hours)
I copied the file folder to my desktop
I tried the following:

1. changing graphics, turning off performance
2. turned on airplane mode (disconnected from internet)
3. turned of steam synch
4. after none of that worked, turned everything back on
5. started new honour mode game, tried to load after coming out of pod
6. started new honour mode game, exited game, copied the save file I want to load into new save folder for new honour mode game

None of this worked. Super frustrating. I just hope that the copied folder/file for the game I'm trying to load didn't get corrupted by all these processes.

Does anybody have a work around that worked given these circumstances? Is it likely if I hang on to the folder/file that a fix will allow me to reload this save? Ugh...was having so much fun with this play through on the edge of my seat.
