[BUG] Graphical skin texture glitch

Act 3 Guantlet Edwynna characters face textures are literally flying off the screen (even when not talking to her) like her mouth is being stretched and i can see her teeth. What do i do? RTX3070

Coincidentally enough at the same NPC right now in my current playthrough, came across the same glitch and searched for it - only to find this thread here full of the same issue .
Even worse, Chenti seems to be in the terminal stage at my end:

At least good to know that it isn't our GPUs or VRAM getting ready to die off.

On another note I also noticed getting graphics glitches in fights with lots of participants - act 3 rats in the basement are a prime example where it always happens and my screen turns into a disco when mousing over them.

Yeah. :) Your's is impressively glitched in comparison!

edit: Reply to my bug report is "The development team is aware of this issue and is currently investigating it."

Same problem just now, same NPC. In fact, I've had the same problem with all of the NPC's that other people have linked in this thread. Good to know it's not our cards dying.

It happened with Gauntlet Edwynna, Bumpnagel and right now it's happening again with Severn, a bugbear in the thieves'guild that sells beverages.

Can confirm that I'm getting this same graphical bug as well, but only since the update am I getting it. I never had it happening before the update where they supposedly fixed it.

I have a similar problem yesterday i played the game just fine today l load my last save and the graphics are either blurred or just black holes were there suppose to be details. I did not put new mods or anything. I try to load older saves and the are also broken.. i thought about removing and re installing the game but i would rather know the cause of the probed instead of doing that every time the game has an issue. can anyone help?

Just wanted to throw my hat in the ring to say this was happening on the 19th and now it’s happening for me again on my second playthrough with a gtx 4070

crazy that such a small bug is so immersion breaking--but it is. Guess because the rest of the game is so good.
