Astarion's romance scene in Act 3 doesn't trigger

Astarion's romance scene in Act 3 doesn't trigger despite the fact that I had 1st romance scene in Act 1 and then been choosing all required dialogue options in both Act 2&3 to keep the high level of elf's approval. Even though I've done all that (and ofc completing the quest with Kazador, after which was chosen one of the first 2 dialogue options to cheer Astarion up) he didn't ask me out to walk with him to cemetery to trigger the 2nd romance scene the night after completing his quest-line.

I presume it may be the bug after recent patch or sth, I just was told about it by several people who romanced Astarion and didn't have such thing.

Did you have a romantic scene in the 2nd act? Can your character kiss Astarion? If not, then you missed the opportunity to romance him in the 2nd act.

What kiss scene are you talking about? I mean when it must happen? In all guides it has been said that there're almost no romance interactions with Astarion (apart from one where he says that he befriended mc just for his own benefit, but it didn't affect the romance at all)...

In Act 2, you can have a conversation with Astarion, during which either a romantic relationship will begin, or the possibility of their occurrence will be blocked. If the romance has been successfully started, then you will be able to kiss Astarion at any time. Also, romantic relationships can be blocked if you visited the Moonrise Tower and, during a conversation with Araj Oblodra, forced Astarion to bite her. Apparently you somehow blocked the romance.

Ah, I see what scene are you ealking about.. But I somehow didn't have that conversation despite the high level of Astarion's approval during all Act 2... Maybe it was not prioritised because of dialogues with other crewmates or a just a bug, but anyway thank you for a thorough reply.

Wait for future patches for a lot of romance scenes (Astarion is especially busted atm).. thats all you can get for an answer. Keep sending larian reports. If the romance scenes/story immersion is important, i'd really just recommend putting off playing for a few more months... it sucks but yea.. with holidays raining down on us we ain't getting proper fixes anytime soon.

Patches work in a pipeline.. so these current issues might not get addressed for another 2-3 big patch drops, sadly.

There was no problem here that patches could solve. Gamer inattention cannot be solved by patches.
