Astarion Bites releases Angels?

Hey there! Everytime I have Astarion bite someone during battle, 2 giant angels names Devos or soemthing(?) will "pop" out of the person Astarion bites. Then they join the fight and I have to kill them along with everyone else. Anyone know why this keeps happening?

This will be because Astarion is cursed. Check the icons next to his character pic.

Positive... if you do kill the Devas, then long rest, and return to the same location, there should be a small pouch where their bodies were. It may contain an awesome Mace weapon that they were using to smite you with.
