Problems with Editing Appearance in Character Creation

After installing some mods, they caused a problem of overloading the game files and preventing access to the Editing Appearance. Even after I reinstalled the game and opened it without mods, it still has the same problem. How could I fix it?

Hey, I think I have the same issue. I've been playing BG3 with mods for months now, no problem. Patch 4 comes out and all of a sudden I cant edit the appearance of any of my characters, new or old. I also removed the mods and it still didn't work, and it just completely skips over the "create a guardian" thing too. Is this the same as what you've got going on?

Yeah, I've already tried deleting the game files and installing it again, changing my Larian account, but it's no longer possible to create new characters (because it doesn't allow me to create the guardian) or change the appearance of the ones I already play.

For mods related issues consult the mods authors.

The problem is that I don't know which mod was responsible for this, and even after I deleted the old mods and files, and reinstalled the game again, it still doesn't work, which is something I believe is connected with the Patch 4

All the mod users who claimed such have turned out to be liars. And the number of those are plenty.

Prove it that you are different and tried something meaningful if you want help here. Otherwise ask the mod authors who are responsible to give you proper uninstall instructions.

Share screenshots of how you deleted the mods locations, that those are empty as they should be.

I can't share screenshots in this chat (is there anywhere else I can share them?), but my mod folder is completely empty and I have neither BG3MM nor Script Extender, as they were deleted when I deleted the game files before reinstalling.

You can use any image hoster of your choice or any webhost of your choice. You can even use Steam's screenshot functionality.

Anything less than screenshots will not convince anyone, considering how many lied about them "not using mods".

Again: consult the mods authors for mods related issues. It feels like you are making fun of me by pretending you know, and then instead of showing proof you just showed two folders which are absolutely irrelevant to your issue.

That kind of behaviour is exactly why no one is to be trusted who claim "they removed their mods".

Man, I really don't know, which folders should I have taken a screenshot of??? Because I don't know which mod I should check out since I uninstalled them all

Hey, I've already uninstalled and deleted all my mods, and its still doing the same thing. I think i can safely say that mods aren't responsible for this weird bug.
