[SOLVED] Bug w/ Inventory UI using Controller - Help?

Been using the controller to play since I discovered it's more comfortable for me, and haven't had any issue since I started playing about just more than a month ago - until today.

Things to know:
- Started happening after patch 4.
- I use mod, but mostly CC stuff. The only other mods I use usually are Camp Night Events Notification (which uses Norbyte's Script Extender) and Extra Bag Weight - both of which I have disabled since the problem started occurring to see whether they were the ones causing it. The problem persists even though I disabled them, as well as all the other mods.
- No issue at all with the keyboard control's inventory UI if I switch to it.
- The inventory itself functions as normal - I can still use any item, send things to camp or other characters, sell them, toggles work fine, etc. All the normal things you can do with inventory items. Seems like it's just a viewing/appearance things, if that makes sense?
- Makes loading inventory kinda slow, I notice. Even when I'm only switching between characters.

Anyone else having this issue? It's honestly not that big of a problem gameplay-wise, but it's annoying that I have to toggle over each item in order to know exactly what they are. I'm just not sure what else I should do, since disabling all mods didn't work.

since you are using the HoF mod, i can guess that you are using modfixer as well?

a lot of people claim that MF is the main issue for stuff like this to happen, mainly animation stuff. idk have you tried to uninstall MF and all mods that require it? at this point i would suggest to stay away from mods for now (it hurts, i cant even give Astarion his earrings or use any of my other files i was playing TvT) and just create a vanilla safe file without any mods installed and see if the issue still persists. i also only use the controller and had no issues at all, even while still using all 20 mods. the only problem i ever had was with raphael just leaving, so i wasnt able to progress astarions main quest cuz it didnt matter if i kill the orthon or not and raphael would just not appear in camp. i also had no kiss animations at all and astarions dialogue was completely broken when i asked for a kiss. no sound, no animations, only the subtitles (its creepy when they just stare at you lmao)

Hey, thanks so much for the response. I initially didn't think it'd be any of the override mods because... I don't know tbh haha, but I ended up uninstalling both MF and ImprovedUI since you said what you said, along with all the other mods (making my game basically vanilla). Loaded a save that I did before using any mods, and that fixed it.

Then I tried to install ONLY either MF or ImprovedUI without any other mods, and apparently, the problem is with ImprovedUI (using only MF didn't cause any issue). I was confused at first because this seems contradictory to what ImprovedUI is supposed to be doing, especially since as far as I know they've already updated for patch 4. So I went to their page on Nexus, where I found out that apparently I forgot to download its complementary mod called ImprovedUI Assets. After I installed that, everything seems to work well again, even with the other mods.

So thanks for the response again, you led me down this rabbit hole of playing around with the override mods, haha.
