[SPOILERS FOR ACT 3] Fight against the Hag bug

It turns out that when I attack and destroy one of the shiny mushrooms in act 3, aunt Ethel (aka the hag) appears, the problem is that once the dialogue ends, the game crashes and i can only move one character, who cannot interact in any way with the environment, so I am force to close the game. Does anyone else have this bug during this quest? Is there a way to fix it?

I have exactly this. Combat starts after the hag chat but I cannot move anyone or do anything. Clicking on portraits suggests game knows I want to use that character as they make their sound but they are unusable.

What's more the entire game unusable at that point. Menu is available but nothing works. I end up having to ctrl-alt-del and ending task just to get out of it.

Not found a way out of this yet.

Same for me. I reported this on Friday.
Keep reporting it through https://larian.com/support/faqs/how-to-submit-a-bug-report_85 with your save game added, telling them your specs and if you are running any mods, so the team can hopefully find a solution soon.

Hi everyone. Had the same issue and reported to Larian. HOWEVER I found a solution. Cast something that does aoe damage where the Hag spawns before destroying a mushroom: when you destroy it she appears and take damage, triggering the fight before the dialogue. I used my wall of fire to destroy the mushroom as well as burn her when she pawns. Only downside is that she doesn't fight back and the battle is boring, in my case. Hope it can be helpful!

Ugh...this didn't happen when I did this my first play through...only difference is i killed the hag in Act 1....

I killed it too in act 1, probably they bugged it when they fixed some exploit for the bossfight

Found the fix. So before you try attacking her in the basement or her mushrooms go back out to the bar. talk to the bartender and there will be a new chatline to select then go upstairs and talk to the captain. You can tell her you have been down in the basement and a fight will start. after this fight go back to the basement and the Hag will pop and start the cut scene. This should fix the problem.

She still doesn't put up a fight in my case, though
