Sluice Gate stuck after completing puzzle?

I solved the sluice gate puzzle in the sewers but when I click on the gate it either tells me it's stuck or that I can't use it right now while it's obviously open. How do I go through it or is there any other way to get to the other side?

You can enter from the other side of the encounter from the 'keep out' door under lady jannaths estate

Thanks Faylien! My game was behaving the same as Runey's: the Sluice Gate is open wide but the game just keeps saying it's "stuck" and it will not allow me to pass. This has got to be a bug!

I've not been to Lady Jannath's estate just yet, so this is welcome news.
