Spoilers!! Allies attacking me before final fight?

So my friend and I are doing an evil play through and we just got to the part where you see all your allies going to help you after we gave our speech.

Right after that Seravok called us "Interloper" before suddenly forcing us into combat with everyone else there minus withers. Not even temporarily hostile just full on going to kill us even the kobold trader. Anyone else experience this?

To our knowledge neither of us attacked or casted a spell or anything obvious to cause a fight.

In my not evil play through - I had similar, two allies are hostile causing a battle right after the cut-scene. (One Hostile, other Temp Hostile). Some of those present only see the one who is Hostile as a threat while others see both as enemies.

Same issue. Im doing a solo playthrough, everythings the same. Even Dame Aylin attacks you.

I am also having the same issue. I am reading through the dialog and it says Gale is initiating a conversation after my Tav is done giving the speech and it is causing Sarevok to yell "Interloper" and they all attack. This is also an evil campaign.

*edit - tried with emperor and then freeing orpheus. both still yielding an attack in that room after Gale initiates a convo - he's in his go for the crown attitude
*edit - left gale outside, now it says astarion started a convo
*edit - left gale astarion and shart outside, some convo triggering after speech and Unholy Assassin Rycke seems to be the first to attack every time in all situations

I had this issue too. Sarevok yelling ‘interloper’ then all my ‘allies’ attack. Just adding this so it gets bumped.

+just another edit, i went ahead and killed everyone...i got a cutscene receiving the artifact like at the beginning of the game. darkshart was one of my allies...but i took up orpheus. THIS IS WEIRD LOL

-also illithid orpheus will not follow on his own

I see this on reddit, someone suggested reloading a save file when you was back in the city and killing Sarevok.

Haven't tried this yet, as I just killed everyone instead because I'm evil after all.

I considered this, but I had a lot of progress between then and now. I just put it aside for now.
