Help. Volo convo broke my game. I can’t interact or talk.

Even hovering over me as shadowheart has no dialogue bubble. Hi,
2 things happened.
1. I went into the sacred pool area and Volo approached me. I hit quicksave before conversation began because I was done playing.
2. Latest hot fix installed

Then I reload ANY save game and I can’t read plaques, talk to party members, who can’t even click on me. They can hit me I can attack anyone. I can’t talk to volo. I can go to way points but I can’t go to camp. Pickpocketing volo or anyone doesn’t work. I stole the idol and killed Khaga and no one attacked me back. So I hope I don’t have to start over again. Some people have this bug in act 3. I couldn’t image starting over. If anyone can help. I know there are many suggested solutions but I can’t get any to work.

Update, I validate files and even totally uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Still loading any of those saved games has the bug. I understand now it happened because I cut off a conversation with Volo that was about to happen. And loading the save I can’t get the scene to trigger. But why every single saved game. Starting over isn’t an option. I’m invested. Plus there is no guarantee I won’t get the silence variant of the problem. The only thing I didn’t try is killing myself with shadowheart (well I did but my revivify scroll is at camp ⛺️ 😖).
I submitted a report to Larian with my saves and the file they asked for. I’d like to hear from them though.
