Cursed skull crash

stood near top of stairs shooting the cursed skulls on the floor with 3 of them, destroyed one on right then moved a bit left on the stairs and suddenly saw "cursed skull casts thunder whatever" start appearing repeatedly, I don't think anyone was getting hit by it but it shortly crashed my game.
