Little help? Can't Lockpick on Soft Step Trial.

I gave blood, disarmed everything, got to the gate, it's just locked and I cannot pick it. By that I mean, It wont come up to roll. My character says the line "just a few terns should do it" and my action will be gone. But no roll, no picking, no open. I am totally stuck and cannot move forward or back really. Any ideas? Or is this a bug? How fix?

As far as I know those final gates cannot be lockpicked. While stalking through the labyrinth you have to percept a hidden button. It opens a part of a wall and there's a key to the gate on a table.
