The game freezes completely when sorting inventory on the controller

After patch 3, the game often completely freezes then sorting inventory (by type, value etc.) with your controlle's left stick in the container menu (like the chest in your camp). Only shutting down bg3.exe process In the Task Manager helps.

Same issue here - in Act 3 and never experienced this before until Patch 3.

I also want to add that there is a particularly high chance of freezing when you sort items with the left stick in the menu of a container, that is inside of another container. Like a backpack that is inside of adventurer's chest in your camp

I have had it crash to desktop twice now while fiddling with inventory using a controller, both times while adding stuff to a backpack in my inventory. I quicksave every time I do inventory management now.

A hotfix for this plz, the game is almost unplayable with this bug.

The wife and I are both having this exact issue. We can't get into the inv at all in camp without it freezing. (We organize things by chests inside our camp container) We have to force close bg3.exe and cant get anything out of it. This has never happened before patch 3. We legitimately can not use our inv anymore. Please advise.

Same here but on ps5

Sold most of our items had like 20-30 items remaining (haven’t saved in like 30-40 min btw and with a butt load of gold and just sorted out our radials) then the game flippin crashes and we lose all our progress.

It still is a curious thing to me reading that a console game can crash.

Can they seriously fix this already!? I am being driven insane by this. I shouldn't have to be quicksaving constantly while managing inventory of all things...

Lol. I have this bug too. And it's almost a month since Patch 3. WTF's happening?! By me it started as occasional freezes during gameplay, I didn't understood why and when at first. Tried to change everything, hardware and software-wise, thought I might be having some hardware instability. Of course nothing helped. Now I can reproduce the bug for a few minutes with 100% probability - just go the camp, open a pair of the storage chests and (/or) the inventory, start sorting things between them, etc. - VOILA - everything freezes and must be closed forcibly. PS: I don't have a controller, play on windows 10 with keyboard and mouse, and it's still happening

It is Larian, they can crash anything;)
