Mac M1 Crash after update

Hi. I can't successfully launch the game after the update. I have a Macbook Pro M1 with 16 GB. I am running OS Big Sur 11.7.10. The game launches, and the beginning Larian Logo shows up, and then there is this process of loading with a percentage on the bottom right goes from 0%-100% but then the game crashes. I tied it after update but without uninstalling the early access version, and then uninstalled and reinstalled and still crashes. I also removed the larian folder in my documents folder.

Any suggestions from anyone about how I might get this game working?

similarly, my game will load to 100% (says in the bottom right corner) but doesn't actually do anything. it just keeps cycling through the pics while loading. help :(

Did you remove all the cloud saves before uninstalling the game and reloading it?
If not doing those, there can be problems. Just like they did say in release notes.

monterey here, constant crashing.
crashes within 5 minutes of starting the game. non playable.
early access was fine, thats why i bought it. release is not.
