Karlach Dinner Date Glitch?

In Act 3 when I got the chance to finally have a dinner date with Karlach, I was super excited to have dinner with her and talk to her about our future (and maybe a third reason >3> ).
But no matter which food item I choose, the game kicks me out of the dinner scene and sends me back to camp (and yes I got the Steam achievement).

I dont get to see the Orc waiter, I dont get to see us eat food, I dont get to talk with her about our future (and I dont get to see her cool blue hue again upstairs >3> ). I dont even wake up at the inn after our long rest. A whole portion of Karlach's dinner scene is absent for me, but I've seen other people's playthroughs where they do get to experience the whole dinner.

Did I do something wrong? Is it a bug I can fix?
I dont know what to do to let me see the whole dinner scene play out...

I was able to bypyss it my man. Load a previous save before long rest. Fast tracel to any other region, long rest there. Then fast travel to Lower city and long rest. Should work.

And also, you need to go immediately once she invites you, no ai need time to prepare

Have you been able to fix this? It seems that the bug is caused by the "fix" for visual glitch with the orc in tge scene.

I am also having this issue. Unfortunately I don't have a save from before the long rest trigger. :/
