Now playing part 3 in the city.
It's literaly imposible to play now.
Try these first to address the lag

I also blasted the statues in this play through, but not another
previous play through doesn't have the animation lag, and my earliest save on this play through doesnt have the lag (right before meeting whithers)
I did the cache clean guide, and no dice. I'm iffy on getting the program in the second guide. Rolling back game version may be my only shot, but also that seems like an all day expenditure worth of downloading.
Tried this out, and amazing - it works. As soon as i destroy the statue, leaving the area the issue is starting, and/or reloading a save with the statue destroyed. Going back to pre destruction of the statue saves and the game runs normal again.
I did it so early in the game too, since thats an easy place to get an oil barrel to take out some combustible druids
and the statues are constantly wiggling in place.
CPU and ram arent maxed out, so i dont think its a memory leak issue, but also would the game be rendering these even in another part of the map?
I remember i had the statues wiggling around in place in the older version as well (so the animation i don't think is related to the lag) - i think we have to wait for larian to fix this with a hotfix.
EDIT: I don't have a save for when I destroyed the statues, but a save that could be just before that (I was at the grove) is the one where the delay disappears. SO it may be that the destruction of the statues is what triggers the issue.
