Act 3 - Guards see (and attack) through walls

Went into Flymm's Cobblers. Killed the two NPCs in there for RP reasons.
The problem here is, the door was shut, and when hiding there was clearly no sign of any guards looking that way. Yet, a guard notices and gives me the "you've done a crime, what do you do" scene.

On its own that's bad enough, but then when the fight HAPPENS, the guards are able to shoot through the wall and closed door of the shop like it isn't even there.
