Controller not working

Ever since Hotfix 7 I can't get my controller to work. It recognizes that I'm using a controller as evidenced by the "Press A" message but nothing happens. The same controller works with every other game I have. Additionally, It doesn't seem to recognize my mouse anymore.

I've tried turning off Steam Input to no avail.

I'm playing on a Steam Deck with a Gulikit King Kong Pro 2 controller if that matters.

I've already had about 70 hours of playtime with the same setup.

I know others are experiencing an elevated number of crashes since HF 7. Has anyone seen any controller issues as well?
