Cross saves from pc to ps5 not working

I was so excited to transfer my pc saves to the new ps5 version of bg3, but I’ve spent 2 hours trying to get them to transfer and nothing will work.

I have BG3 on my PC through steam and my ps5. Both my PC and PS5 are linked to my Larian account and cross saves are enabled on both platforms. I deleted all my PC saves except for 3 to try to get them to transfer to my ps5. I also create a new save for my main character to try to trigger another sync. But I still can’t get my saves to transfer from PC to PS5. I’ve also tried turning cross save on/off/on/off on both platforms then relaunching the game on both platforms a bunch….

Any ideas :(?

I *believe* that cross saves and speech are to be implemented at some point down the road - can't say for certain, but it's deffo in the roadmap.

I've been able to see my PS5 saves on my PC but not vice versa. I'm not 100% sure either but I think cross save is supposed to be functioning. I know that cross play for multiplayer between PC and PS5 is on the roadmap for later.

How disappointing. I'm having the same experience as OP. Guess I'll start my dark urge on PS5 lol

Same issue here. No issue getting saves from my PS5 to my steam deck, but they won't sync the other way (which means I am now stuck playing solely on my Steam Deck or else I'll lose a ton of progress).

Wouldn't have bought two copies of the game if I knew this wasn't going to work...any my Steam Deck copy was my second...

I'm having the same issue as others. I can't sync to my PS5 from the steam version. I used to be able to "cheese" it by unlinking my Larian accounts and re-adding them. For the last two weeks, even that has stopped working. Now, I'm unable to play with my PS5 friends because my progress is "locked" on my PC (I wear headsets for communication and can't wear both the PC headset and my PS5 one).

I’m still having this issue. I tried emailing Larian support and the fixes they told me to do couldn’t fix it. Since the newest hotfix, I now get a pop up message that says “cloud sync failed” that didn’t show up before and no matter how many times I try to retry the sync it doesn’t work.

Has anyone ever found a fix to this? I'm currently struggling with the same issue, PS5 saves are coming to my Steam Deck but no Steam Deck saves show up on PS5, even though they ARE on the Larian cloud (and I believe at some point in the past my syncs worked both ways). Tried turning the cross save option on and off, restarting devices,... nothing helps. I want to enjoy BG3 while travelling but I don't want to play handheld forever :(
