Can't shoot any special arrows other than frost

No matter who I hand the arrows to everything they attempt to shoot the arrow itt let's me set up the shot then backs out of the shot unless it's a frost arrow. Anyone seen something similar?

I'm seeing many posts like this have popped up in the past 48 hrs. No solution yet, I'm trouble shooting.

What mods do you have? Did you recently make a change?
Was this pre or post Hotfix 6 when the issue started?

I'M BACK!

So I never did find the cause so it may happen to you again, but the good news is I found a fix.

HOW TO FIX YOUR ARROW CONSUMABLES NOT FIRING:
For each stack of arrow consumable (ie. Arrow of Fire, Arrow of Ice, etc.):
1) Drop the whole stack of arrows on the ground
2) Find, cheat spawn, or buy from a vendor a new arrow of the same type
(Optional) Save and ensure that the arrow you just bought is not bugged also
3) Pick up your bugged arrows and add them to the stack with your working arrow
4) Profit

Save and make sure it works. I tested it with most arrow types and it unbugged all my arrows to my joy. Ranger playthrough is on! If anyone else struggles with this, spread the word there's a workaround.

Didn't fix it for me, can't fire the newly purchased arrows even?

I've got the same problem. I didn't game this in past playthroughs. I suspect some mod (patch 7 / in game) broke it but nothing is obviosly related to arrows or ranged attacks. Tried different characters and arrows and sometimes it works but don't know why. Basically doing Honor mode with this handicapt now (also couldn't use the bell in the gauntlet)
