Can't Enter "Beckoning Cave"

After entering the Astral Prism, I know I am supposed to enter the Beckoning Cave to speak with the Guardian, however, when I click on the Beckoning Cave with the gear icon as my PC to try to enter it nothing happens. If I switch to one of my followers then I can click on the Beckoning Cave but then it won't let me enter because the Guardian says they will only speak with me. Then when I try again to enter it still nothing happens when I click on it to try to enter. Am I doing something wrong or have I encountered a bug?
