Cleric deity bug

Hi, so I started the game as a lolth-sworn paladin and then proceeded to take a level of cleric. Now the weird thing is I can't choose my deity. Lolth is not there, there are no options, and once I proceed it defaults to Selune in my character sheet. Does anyone know a fix?

Also of note: if I respect the character and start as a cleric, then take the paladin lvls, it works fine. No bug. But the other way around seems to 100% guarantee the bug. Which sucks not only because of the 1100 gold I have to use, but also because starting as a cleric locks me out of havong the proficiencies I want

I saw a post on reddit where the user couldn't select a deity when multiclassing from ranger.
I'm having the same issue when starting as rogue and multiclassing to cleric.
So that seems to be the bug maybe? Though OP, the reddit post, and me are all playing Drow as well.

EDIT: I just tested further and it does only seem to be a Drow multiclassing into cleric.
If you start as cleric, no problem, but if you start as something else, then it just shows the empty box on the deity screen instead of Lolth.

I just had this problem while using the gamepad UI and found switching to the kb/m UI fixed it. Lolth appears to be the only option if you're a Lolth-Sworn Drow, so my guess is something goes wrong finding the initial index if you're using the gamepad UI. Should be an easy enough fix if the devs ever decide to patch it

I'm just showing up months later to say that this is still an issue. I tried multiclassing my drow druid into a cleric and it defaulted to Selune as the deity instead of Lolth. I play on Xbox so SheolCodeMonkey may be right about it being controller exclusive.
This is before Patch 7 so I'm not sure it it will be fixed with that patch or not.

I think this is caused by the removal of certain deities that were available in the EA. (Bhaal, Myrkul and Shar) They effed up something and did not properly did it. All you can do is send a bug report to Larian.

(also sadly it does not really matter what deity you choose, because it really does not add any flavour and special dialogue options)

Yup, still a bug. It’s driving me nuts.
