Shar's Temple, second trial, clone fight.
When the clones use disarming strike, your weapons disappear into the ground with no way to retrieve them during or after the fight. Very frustrating as I've had to re load a quick save numerous times to avoid losing my good weapons.

Try it with just one party member. Maybe Astarion. Use stealth.

I got myself the bug yesterday.
You just have to do it properly with one character, the one who gave the blood.
Get rid of the one who disarms first, he won('t do it.

I managed to sneak attack all 4, get them surprised and just had to deal with Lae'thel which wasn't easy lmao.

i just experienced it twice, karlach uses disarming strike on astarian and he drops both his daggers. Guess i'll just go in bare fisted.

Got disarmed during the fight. Picked the weapons up. No issues.

I assure you, it's a real bug.

Usually you can still hold down alt and click the label.

if you are still stuck on the fight due to loosing the weapons, you can cheese it so you will ( properly never get disarmed ) before they die:

undress/unequip all items and give casters armor they aren't proficient with - do this before giving the blood to start, sneak in - once you can see your oponents, but before engaging them re-equip the original items. This should make it a cakewalk as you are figthing naked unarmed oponents.

Once each of your players have killed their own clone they are free to help kill the others with out the trial failing

It trivializes the trial however so use it at your own displeasure.

It's why it's a bug, they are nowhere to be found on the floor.
I looked the entire room, i assure you they completely disappeared.
By now dozens of people have reported the same issue, it's time we don't double guess what people really encountered.

I didn't doubt you I asked for clarification - some people are unaware that holding down alt will show item labels even for items that have glitched inside other items. ( like almost every key found in the world )

As your original post makes no mention of doing this, I thought it reasonable to ask

Damn bro, that is some big brain stuff. Sounds like a valid tactic. I'm doing that on the next playthrough, thanks!
