Is this a bug or am I dumb? -Karlach romance

I've gotten to the second act and partially fixed Karlach's heart engine and had her kiss me after, but I can't trigger her sex scene at all. Wasn't it supposed to be triggered at an time after the quest is completed? All the other companions are trying to get into my pants except for the only one I am trying to. I have already gotten to the third act in another save and found out I had let Dammon die, so I started this run and thought I had done everything right. This is a big let down.

I had the same issue.

After performing the 2nd upgrade and the battle, went back to camp and got.. a cutscene with Wyll. The same Wyll that I haven't used more than 5m in this run.

That said, i was able to trigger the Karlach romance scene by taking an immediate second rest afterwards.

I absolutely LOVE the game but the romance system is wonky to say the least. I've never seen a game where every companion wants to bang you in the first act including a few that I've never actually taken into my party for longer than 5m of in game time.

I have done so many rests, but the game still thinks I have no romance whatsoever with her. I will try and see what I can do in the third act, but it didn't let me romance her in the entire second act. I can't believe I can't romance the only character I wanted to so bad :(

I'm having the same bug. Got the second upgrade, she was stoked. Scene never triggered, been multiple long rests since then. Now it seems like her romance is inactive?

I was worried about that too, but in my case, the option of the sex scene appeared after defeating Yulgir and finding all the umbral gems.

Same. She even said that things cooled off between us and there's nothing I can do to her, only to send her back to camp.

I did and it didn't appear for me. I finished act 2 and nothing yet. I'm hoping I can trigger it when I get to the circus in act 3 (spoiler) and try to romance her through that dryad.

I will try. I am going through the final act and I'll see if I'm able to finally romance her for real.

In the end, nothing worked. She still saw me as if I had rejected her. Started a new save and I managed to romance her again and finally had her sex scene. Kinda disappointed that a minor bug made my second run so annoying.

How did you get the sex scene? I did everything right from a tutorial and we are in a relationship, but the original scene wont trigger. And i made 100% sure that no other events overlap
