From here, I had one file in two different locations named modsettings.lsx . It was in the Global and PlayerProfiles>Public folders. I'd recommend just deleting the file in Global first and see if that fixes the problem. If you delete both like I did-
After removing the files, my game opened but the terrain looked weird (things missing). I had steam verify the file integrity for BG3 and it seems to work fine. For me, steam only readded the mod settings.lsx in the public folder.

There is no official mod support yet. If you want to play modded you do it at your own risk:)
i really do not have any idea of what to do.
Hi, I have same issue, these methods worked making my game usefull again.
However all of my mods are now gone and even reinstalling them doesnt work.
