Eldritch blast gone missing

I've chosen the spellsniper attribute and chose eldritch blast as the cantrip on Gale. I can cast it just fine but for some reason I can't find it in his spells/spellbook... That means my only way of changing it's position in the hotbar is by dragging it around in there. Anyone had the same issue?
EDIT: when I search for it in my spellbook it's shown as result... but it's not shown in my cantrips

nvm. If anyone else comes here for the same issue, do the search OP mentioned, then drag it from the results back to your hotbar
