[spoiler] Got the egg, but quest is still open

I have the Githyanki egg in Lae'zel's inventory, but the "Steal Githyanki Egg" quest is still open. The quest marker on the map now follows Lae'zel around everywhere we go. Seems like a bug, maybe since I didn't steal the egg so much as just kill every Githyanki and then took it. But maybe there is some fix?

The quest ends by either presenting it to the lady who tasked you with it, or by refusing to give it to her. But you need to visit her;)

The problem is that the quest is stuck saying I need to steal the egg.

I have the same problem

I stole the egg, so the problem isn't killing them. I killed the merchant who gave me the mission. The mission ended but i got no exp.
