Character doesn't move/Cutscene Missing

Right after the game starts, during the prologue, my character is stuck, unable to move, and I can't select any of my spells or actions(I can open the menu and inspect objects). I already tried resetting the game and my PC, loading in and out of the save file, making a new one, deleting the old ones, etc.
I tried looking for game playthroughs to see if I did something wrong and noticed that right after the cinematic, a little cutscene with the PC getting out of the pod and complaining about their head is supposed to happen, but in none of my saves the cutscene/dialogue occurred.
Does anyone know a possible reason why that keeps happening and how to fix it? I already tried everything I could think of.
