IMPORTANT Baldur's Gate 3 DX11 crash on Radeon 7000 series -> SOLVED (workaroud)

Amd released Adrenalin 23.8.1 in KNOWN ISSUES you can read "Application crash or driver timeout may be observed while playing Baldur's Gate 3 with DirectX® 11 API set on certain systems with Radeon™ RX 7000 series GPUs"

That mean Amd is on the way to solve this problem! They are working on it. For sure 99% of cases is not hardware relate but software(drivers) related.

Meantime i found a solution:
- in Adrenalin software you can set GPU configuration to work in a specific way (voltage, fan curve, frequency ecc..) for a specific game:
- Open adrenalin -> Go to Performance -> optimization -> add game profile and select baldur's gate 3
- Set max gpu frequency 400/500 mhz lower. For Example, my 7900xtx Nitro have 3000mhz default max freq. I set to 2600 mhz.
- Leave Tension to default (for me is 1150mv)
- Increase your fan curve a little, disable 0 rpm.
- Now go to adrenalin home -> games -> select Baldurìs Gate 3 and enable Radeon Chill and set max fps to 100 and min fps to 75. (if you have 60 hz monitor set min/max 60, if you have 120 hz monitor like me decrease to min 75 max 100)
-set BG3 fullscren borderless in game options

Whit these settings 0 crash in DX11 mode!!! In grimforge area before i crash every 10/15 min. Now i am able to play whitout crash and performance are awesome! BG3 is not big demandig.

Now Enjoy BG3!

Trust me... i tried everything before coming up with this workaround... reinstalled windows, rolled back drivers, reinstalled specific windows components... created different ad hoc profiles for the gpu!!!
In the end only the steps described above have brought a concrete result.

Grymforge seems to be broken. I went back and took the mountain pass instead. Not crashed since.

Edit : got a DXGI crash finally but after 1h30 of play instead of 1:30
So I reduced my GPU clock even more to 2GHz, I'll see
Also I have seen for the first time a corrupted texture (some part of a path with stones was all black), in the Grymforge near the Anim Armors fight, so there's something here - 7900XTX has 24GB VRAM so really not an insufficient VRAM issue!!

I still crash to this day, but I found running the game on Vulkan rather than DX11 works perfectly fine.
