Crashing in the Underdark constantly now.

I run an RX 7900XTX GPU, and I've played consistently well up until this point in the game. After killing the flock of ravens that spawn in when I interact with the downed raven in the Ruined Battlefield I setup camp, and after exiting camp, I continued my journey west/northwest, only for my game to crash immediately. Going the other way produces another crash. Reloading from my save in camp, and teleporting myself back to the beginning Temple and moving there also produces a crash. It seems no matter what I do to try and progress, I crash.

I was running DX11 already, so I tried switching to Vulkan, no fix.
I turned graphics settings on Low for both DX11 and Vulkan, no fix.
I have tried launching the game as an Administrator from the installation folder with steam closed, no fix.

This is exceedingly frustrating because up until what I feel like was Hotfix #4's fault, I could run the game fine on Ultra, and now I cannot progress from here until a fix is given. Please hurry and find a solution to fixing this as I am not the only one experiencing it and I'm basically unable to play the game.

EDIT: It seems the Corrupted Raven or its subsequent fight is what seems to be the faulty spot. I went to a save right before that fight and I am able to traverse the Underdark again so far. Not sure if the fight itself broke something, or the Raven itself is broken, ironic since it's literally named 'Corrupted' raven and it seems to have corrupted the game past that point. Lol.

I am having the same issues with crashing constantly happening within 15 minutes of play. I lowered graphics settings. I'm using DX11. Running as Administrator. I added to exclusion from virus/spyware protection. I have the game file loaded to an SSD. I have updated graphics card. Tried everything suggested in threads. But, still crashing constantly. Any help would be greatly appreciated as the game is unplayable.

Mee to... 7900xtx same problems, crashing consinstetly in Underdark - grimforge.
Only way open ticket to Larian. Maybe they look at steam, but ticket is more efficent.

The Corrupted Raven either itself is what bugged my game, or the fight, or the time after. Either way, I reverted to a save right before the fight and it seems to let me continue playing. I'll interact with the Raven and attempt to fight it again to be sure it wasn't some weird fluke.

EDIT: Upon re-fighting the ravens, it seems to still let me progress. So I'm wondering if somehow my save file got corrupted after my initial playthrough, not sure if something was tweaked on my end, or the hotfix tweaked something, either way, so far so good.

To any still struggling with the Underdark, to make sure, I launched with Vulkan this time, low everything on graphics, turned off VSync, Disabled my Anti-Aliasing, and as I said, reloaded from a previous save file. Hopefully others are able to get through this tricky spot, and hopefully Larian fixes this ASAP for those that can't!

Proud 7900XTX owner too ;), and for me it's crashland ONLY in the Grymforge, CTD/lockup every 2 minutes, but 0 problem if I go anywhere else (went to the Creche and cleared it no problem, went back to the myconids no problem)
It's not a save problem as it plays ok on an other comp (my son's, and under Parsec !)

Only played this part on Hotfix4, tried every tweak to solve it (DX11/Vulkan, lower settings, no VSync etc), no luck
So it's something either hardware or drivers related

I cannot play to. ever since hot fix 4 was redeployed i crash Every 2-5 minutes, it is completely random with no triggers

What i can suggest to you folks is to try to update the bios on your mobo:S Might help might not.

I also have the same issue. Constant crashes in the Grymforge with a Radeon 6700 XT.
But im pretty sure it has something to do with hotfix 4. Everything was fine before that i´ve played ~45h with not a single crash. I also played 2-3h in the grymforge, last week, with no crashes, BEFORE hotfix 4 was released.

Updated to latest BIOS and chipset drivers
Updated to new Adrenalin drivers published..today !!
No dice, same crashfest in Grymforge (but only there) !!

I was able to progress from where I was crashing. I ended up launching via Vulkan, turning off VSync, turning everything on low, reloading from a previous save (since I save a billion times), and was able to re-engage the Raven fight without crashing afterward. I was able to turn up my graphics back to Ultra. The second I turned VSync back on my game crashed. So I've kept VSync off and have been able to progress. Once I leave the Underdark I'll turn it back on to check, but I agree, it was definitely something in Hotfix #4 that's FUBAR'd all our systems as previously there had never been an issue.

I additionally have submitted a ticket to Larian to let them know of the issue I faced, hopefully they can figure out a fix in the next patch.

Might be a better idea to underclock the GPU, that way you can get the settings back higher. (It was a suggestion in another similar topic and seemed to help for another player. Not sure if in this discussion or in general)
