Report a translation problem
Actually if you did talk, save the game quit and then restart. That fixes the issue. (I read it in a guide and used it successfully. I already suggested this in another thread 3 weeks ago.)
That's unusual.
I don't think I myself actually filed a bug report at the time. Just shrugged and moved on as it didn't affect the game too much, and just hoping it would get fixed at some point.
If you can't see when you press down alt, I may be able to see it because of a mod that highlights everything when I am using the alt key. But I can confirm that while holding down the alt this shows up for me, and via trial and error I can usually find the "right" one that works
EDIT; Nevermind, I was seeing the duplicate reduce by one when I clicked on the empty head, but then it would return. It was hard to see with the number of duplicates I've generated on this playthrough
