Extreme lag 3 minutes into gameplay every time

Hello,

I am in a bind. I purchased this and have been so excited to play, but I cannot play for more than three minutes without the game completely stuttering to a near halt. I have been trying for hours (5 hours of just recorded gameplay just to try to troubleshoot, never got past the second room) and I am worried I have exhausted all of my options. I will list my specs and things I have tried.

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti, 4GB dedicated video RAM, 16 GB RAM, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-1165G7 @ 2.80GHz, 540GB Disk Space after install. [Asus gaming laptop]

Totally wiped the install and all files from the computer and reinstalled - 3 times.
All drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled directly.
Completely uninstall and reinstall graphics card.
Set all settings within game to lowest possible.
Turned on Game Mode, turned off Game Mode.
Set the game to high priority in task manager.



Used the NVIDIA control panel to change these program settings -

Turn off sharpening
Set max frame rate to 50 fps
GDI compatibility to Prefer Performance
Rendering GPU to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 Ti
Power Management mode to Maximum Performance
Texture filtering - Quality to High Performance
Trilinear optimization to ON
Triple Buffering to OFF
Vsync to OFF

I have toggled all of these settings. I have left some on, some off. I have tried with all of those opposite, and some opposite.

I have tried running DX11, I have tried running with Vulcan.
I have put the --skip-launcher command into the Steam config.
I unplugged my headset and mouse, quit Discord, and went offline.
