[SPOILER] Glitch Blood of lathander quest? Please help :(

Hello guys, I found the Blood of lathander legendary mace in the Rosymorn Monastery. I pulled it and I had to escape before the monastery would collapse. I tried things like throwing a cloud of smock on the canon on the outside (to try stopping the light beam lol, and als o threw an arrow); then it kind of glitched and I was like I was no longer in the ''red zone''. I went to the extraction point to be safe before the explosion. However, the quest isn't complete, it's stuck, the monastery didn't explode, and the safe zone circle is still on my map. I've got the mace in my inventory, though. Anyone else? It's frustrating to not be able to finish the quest. Also, I cannot roll back saves, unfortunately.
