Exclamation mark from Gale after talking to the tressym

After speaking to the tressym on the roof of the Open Hand Temple, Gale has an exclamation mark over his head but when I go to speak to him, he has nothing to say outside of his usual dialogue for camp dismissal. Is it something important that I'm missing or just extra dialogue about the tressym?

I have the same issue, but mine started after he talked to Mystra... I have talked to him and swapped him out of my party. I have also tried rebooting. I guess he is excited all the time now :(
